Hello guys,

For a while I've had this 9k gold bracelet. It looks great, but I can't stand how it slips about on my arm, it's about 1/4 inch too big for me. Even on my smallest watch below.

Is there anyway I can adjust these links or should I flip it and find a shorter one?

Ollie 😀

If there's a manufacturers mark you might be able to find instructions on how to remove a link or two.

I seriously doubt it was finished by brazing or soldering. My guess is that the pivots are springbars and you can reach inside the link with a small punch or blade and gain purchase on the shoulder.

An experienced goldsmith would be able to sort it out. Maybe there are spring bars, maybe there aren't, but one way or the other it can be shortened to fit your wrist.

You’ve had lots of advice as to shortening the bracelet. Please do us a favour and let know what works.

From the 2nd image, these links seem to be held together by gold pins which are soldered at the tip not to slip out.
If so, it's a goldsmith's job. There's a process to be done.

Can you post a picture of the underside of the bracelet please?

The underside of the bracelet looks identical to the top.

There are the letters JAM on the clasp.

That sounds like the most probably route! Now where do I find a goldsmith - google I guess? haha
