Gold Band/strap Links - Gold Or Not Gold?

Question: How can one tell if the links on the band is "solid gold" or not? Is it indicated somewhere? I see some eBay sales indicate that the band is also gold.

Yes, one can see "14K" or "18K" inscribed at the back, or inside-back, of a case; but doesn't it refer to the watch case only?

    Thanks.

solid gold bracelets will have 18k or 14k stamped, or they'll have .750 (for 18k) or .585 (for 14k) stamped separately from the head

Ah, OK. So then this means if the bracelet does not have the 18K or 14K stamp, then it is not gold; i.e., even when the watch case is gold. Thanks.

Its usually inside the clasp where its marked. Note, sometimes you'll see 14K GF or 10K GF or similar, that's gold filled, and its not solid gold at all.
