I did try it one, and fit wise, I loved it. Because of that, I'm aiming for a 1655 or a 16750 in the near future. putting the funds together is the challenge. The reason I went with the 42mm was the freccione GMT hand. The orange and it being oversized, it made me fall in love with it's looks.

Curious if you've ever tried the 16570 model with 40mm case...?

I love the price and obviously love the bezel. I’ve actually never owned or worn a Tudor so I’ll need to find a local retailer to try one on. What are some pros and cons to the watch if you don’t mind me asking? Thanks

As I said earlier, it might be a little thick/heavy for some, but I really like it and wear it all the time. My one complaint is the clasp, which doesn't have an easy micro adjustment. I have a Rolex Sub, and it's quick and easy to expand or contract the bracelet. Even my $500 Prometheus Eagle Ray has a quick and easy clasp adjustment. But that's a minor complaint.

Good luck in your search and post a few pics with what you end up getting 👍

I have two GMT watches one is a Rolex GMT Master II, and the other is a Glycine Airman. I would highly recommend the Airman if you are looking to add a really nice timeless vintage GMT watch. Every time I wear it I'm slightly blown away by how nice it is. It does take a little bit of time to get used to the 24 hr dial though.

That is a great looking watch I love the military style dial. Legible and clean.

Save for the watch you want. 👍
Absolutely in the end I’ll get what I desire but I have a few months until I make that purchase and honestly I love listening to the feedback from those on this forum. It’s very thoughtful analysis and definitely allows me to make an educated decision.

As much as I recommend the Exp II, this is the best advice. Don't settle... For me the Exp II was my preferred choice, but if it's not for anyone else, I wouldn't want any of my advice responsible for convincing them to settle.
I definitely appreciate that advice and in the end I’ll get what suits me best. I’ve grown a lot as a collector and tend to not make knee jerk decisions anymore. I’m truly taking my time and listening to those with experience to eventually purchase what works best. It just gets to a point where you have to say is a 12k watch really that much better than a 7k watch? As much as I love the Rolex GMT look, I’d most likely need to sell one or two of my current watches and I really love all three of those. But seriously all of your advice is incredible so thank you!

You could always get the ‘Blaken’ Explorer II model, if you want something different.

Ideally, you should get what you most want even if it takes longer but if you have an itch I like the white dial 16570 to add a completely different look to your collection

buy the one you want most. I remember getting my 16710, but it came at cost of some watches and cash. Looking back i should just paid instead of trading my 14060m go as Ill never get one at that price again.

Try IWC. I’m not home so using a pic from the internet. It’s a very nice way to work the GMT function.

Grand Seiko makes some nice GMTs, in a few colours. I've got a black version of this and it's great for a weekend watch at the beach, boat, etc., especially for the price.
