Any current owners... I'm seriously considering and would like some wearer feedback (and wrist shots)

Is that your Exp 2 on the display table? If so, I think you have the better 24 hour timepiece already.

Agreed....I personally think Rolex dances all over Omega on the GMT end.....Omega had some nice GMT pieces like the old blake SMP GMTs.....but anything recent can't measure up to Rolex's GMT/Exp2 lineup....I'd sooner even look @ a Sky Dweller....just me personally.

Haha, good eye guys. Yes that is my E2...
The white and black PO GMT really grabbed me while browsing around. So does the regular PO... But the black/white is stunning. Very very thick too :(

prefer the 16570, but why does the omega look very "blingy"?

I like the Rolex GMT Exp2 out of the two options.

You know they have a stainless steel Sky Dweller now...

Never understood the GMT with an He valve...

No I own that already... I'm just looking for opinions on the Omega GMT. I guess you could say regular PO vs GMT IMG_20170502_161953.jpg

It's up to you but the PO GMT has never resonated with me. The black and white is meh. Technically it's stunning just not something I'd wear.

Sadly, I haven't had the opportunity to check out the new GMTs in person yet to get a feel for them. They certainly look pretty fun in the photos.

Selfishly, I would love for you to pick up the new Deep Black Sedna so that I can buy it off of you at discount in two weeks when you post it in the FS section ;)

While I like the styling on the Omega PO GMT, I think it's way too thick.

I should also add that I have 7.5in wrists. The 216570 fits much better on me. Almost all Rolex models fit me at full extension with EZ links out. Any watch under 41mm looks a tad too small...

The GMT Omega has better look than the regular PO, but if you feel like the GMT is necessary in you life, go for it, otherwise stick with new Releaes PO since you already have the GMT Rolex.

The first gens wear a lot thinner. I love my 3313 45.5 POC. The second gens look like the are floating off of my wrist. Coincidently there are some first gens for sale on the forums currently.

I own this exact watch (GMT Black & White with leather / rubber band).

I love it.. the movement, the GMT function, the bi-directional bi ceramic bezel. It is a bit blingy IMO, but I like that about it. Very functional and technically sound.

My only gripe like you is the thickness and the fact that GMT hand is not a different color. Am considering selling it after just 3 months of ownership, but it's getting really hard to part with it.

Considering other GMTs to replace it but nothing has grabbed me yet.

I have the 216570 as well (mine is the black dial) and for me, it is such a great GMT option that I have stopped considering alternatives. I quite like the understated steel bezel and the fact it tapers back and so is less 'thick' looking.

The dial is simple, easy to read and I do use the GMT whenever travelling to Europe or Asia. The Orange hand adds a small bit of colour and the quickset hour adjusment makes switching between timezones easy.

I also regularly use the Easylink comfort extension feature to make the watch wear a little looser or tighter depending on the situation and how I'm feeling.

I think the question you're really asking yourself is whether or not you want 'another watch', and I can't find any logical reason to nudge you in that direction (but when have we ever used logic in a watch purchase anyhow?)...
