So I am really loving the idea of adding this to my collection but wondered what others opinions were on it?

 

It's not my choice, but why do you care what anyone else thinks?

What do you think of the dial? Is it too busy? Does it give you what you need?

What about the GMT function? Is that why you want it? Or is it just "style" for you?

How does the bracelet fit for you? Is it comfortable? Do you like the non-bracelet choices better, perhaps?

If you like it , buy it. I liked it. I bought it. I wear it on rubber strap. Very comfortable. The straps keeps it right in the middle of the wrist. Completely different compared to the bracelet. You should buy it with the bracelet and get yourself the rubber as well.

 

Not my kind of watch either but it's got some funk to it... As far as GMT watches go, it's mid-range as far as extroverted color schemes (not Pepsi, not monochrome).

This is not an indictment of the OP but, I never really understood the "should I buy this?" question to the forum. If I asked peoples' opinion for each watch purchase I made, I'd never have bought one in the first place
I'd instead ask if anyone has one, and ask them about their experiences with it - is the movement temperamental? Does it scratch easily etc.

I say buy it if you like it.

FWIW I'm way more into the Goodplanet GMT you posted than the AT above

 

i tried on the goodplanet GMT when trying to decide between 42 and 45 mm for the PO, as it's right in between them.
love the dial size.
don't love the extra height, since PO is already kind of a tall watch.
for me, too much orange on the bezel.

I live in Florida, and those are University of Florida's colors, so around it looks a lot like a gimmicky 'team' watch- like something that should be worn with a matching football jersey and flags hanging from the car window...

ended up with the 45mm Ti PO on blue rubber strap which i love.

 

Neither of them does it for me, but for sure the good planet would take the first place for me too

 

Don't have that problem living in the UK

 

I've already got the AT LE and would be adding the GMT Goodplanet. Only thing is I would have to sell my standard SP co ax to fund?

I went into the AD to buy one when they came out. Not to try it on, but to buy it. I couldn't get over the bulk

 

I did add it to my collection - of one! Love the watch. It give you a good feeling when you wear it.

 

My first impression was nah.
But blew the pic up, I'd have to put it on wrist and ponder it. Could go either way for me as watch that grows on you or grow to hate.

 

I love it, too. Wondering why the one in the sales section is still there. If I wouldn't have to add 19% tax I would have already bought it!
