    What a mess.

I only wish the other buyers were as aware and astute as you.

Well he does say in the auction that the bracelet isn't original to the watch. He doesn't bother to mention that the bracelet isn't legit.

What is wrong with it? Bracelet isn't correct, but that is stated. Case looks super sharp and fat...I don't see any [email protected].

    What am I missing?

The easy ones, bracelet and dial are fake.
    Mid-case is fake - Long-E.
Wrong caseback, if indeed that is the picture of the "actual" caseback, should have a 71/72... either way, look at the picture of the back of the watch how it has been stripped a few times..
Insert and bezel, I am sure are good.
Movement, I have doubts that is the actual picture of the movement...but really, need to move on from this piece of junk..

Jesus...I glanced over dial:whipped:Totally see it now, as well as the case.

I am bad about not paying attention to watches that I have no interest in buying.

    Thanks for pointing out.

I can't tell anything wrong with the dial and this is why I will never buy a Rolex, despite somewhat wanting a 1675

Completely incorrect dial, pretty bad relume, and obvious fake bracelet.

As always, be careful out there..
When in doubt, do some case stamping comparisons.
Go the Jacek's website, HQMilton, and look at similar serial reference numbers to compare...

This is a very interesting lesson, the mid-case is the hard one to differentiate. The lettering is off, vertical alignment is incorrect and lastly look at how clean it is given the age and condition of the rest of the watch.

I believe I saw something similar on OF lately but can’t seem to find the post.

    +1

One should always make careful, critical comparisons, …with existing, verifiable cases… to confirm continuity of form, & style

Strange ?…I cannot find that post either ?

The easy check for the case authenticity is the length of the mid stroke on the 'E'

You'd be surprised by how many replicas still get it wrong!
