Good morning everyone, I have for sale my Glycine day-date disk, all original with the original unmarked bracelet. The watch is in very good condition and has never been polished. It was probably NOS at one point! It has a 35mm diameter without crowns. In all transparency, there is a little rub/scratch on the crystal over the 4. I don't know the service history, and I have never had the case back open in fear of scratching it. I honestly think that the last time the case back was open was at the factory. If demanded I can, of course, bring it to my watchmaker I could not accumulate much information on it as it seems to be an uncommon example. The serial number would date it to the late 60s. The only other example I have seen comes from http://forums.watchuseek.com/f18/glycines-historically-important-timepieces-867204.html, but that watch originates from the 40s. Could this be a re-edition in the 60s? Yes, I know not the best sales pitch! Asking 550chf (Swiss francs). First sale on the forum, which means I don't have references. I will do my best to make this deal as transparent as possible and make you comfortable. I also expect the same from you. Paypal is fine, but I would prefer bank transfer. Questions? Ask away. Just to make you even more comfortable, I'm Canadian! How many dodgy Canadians have you met? None. We are polite and honest people. Cheers, Jonatan
Very nice piece, sadly missed it. Looks like a genuine 1940's triple date with a Venus 205 movement. Bargain price too.
