In regards to the glossy dials on the 8500 powered PO GMT and Titanium PO, are these polished ceramic, enamel finish, or something else?

I'm not so sure... My Dsom and LMLE both have the zirconium Oxide symbol...

Zirconia (ZrO2) is the ceramic material used in things like dentistry and cutting blades, that's afaik what Omega use

Zirconia (ZrO2) markings on the dial is related to the material of the case, and not the dial itself as far as I have understood the matter. It could be they also make the dial in the same material?

LMLE does not have a Ceramic case, Black Black and Sedna Black obviously do...
GSOTM definitely does not have a platinum case...but does have a platinum dial ...and the Platinum marker (pt950) is on the Dial...
So the dial marking to reflect the case theory is flawed. Furthermore, omega has always engraved the case material on the case back...
(titanium, ZrO2, Sedna gold, 18k, or even SS)

Sedna is not a ceramic. It is according to Omega a "18K rose gold alloy". The Sedna black has a case of ZrO2 ceramics, but the bezel is of Sedna gold alloy,
I am really not much into these watches, but have a rather keen interest in the materials.

The ZrO2 reference from my side is not a theory but rather a result of reading up on what Omega themselves states on their web pages and in various catalogs.

No, not polished ceramic as the other models you mention. The dials on the 8500 PO GMT and the Ti PO are just lacquered dials.

The marks on the dial are for the dial...

No one said that Sedna was ceramic... Just that the Sedna gold cases will have some type of marking on the case that reflects the fact that it is Sedna.
Just like the platinum cases will have platinum marked in the case... Has nothing to do with ceramic.
