ยทWhether you're a watch hoarder, collector, or trader ...
If you're non-Swiss & prefer to buy your new Swiss Swatch Group watches in Switzerland, then this post is for you!

Anyway, maybe others know, but I just found out that Swatch Group & Global Blue have a fee-waiver deal, in Switzerland at least. ๐
Normally if you're due a Swiss VAT Refund upon leaving Switzerland you have 2 options:
Last year I missed a VAT Refund because, driving out, it was snowing like a mutha, and the border customs office was a beeotch to stop for, so I just kept going ๐
Today OB staff told me Swatch Group has an agreement with Global Blue that waives most of the fee (it's still ~1%? Maybe less?). I validated this at another Swatch Group brand boutique.
It'll be awhile before I cross the Swiss border & can for-sure-yes-no/low-GB-fee validate, but that's some awesome news making it WAY easier to get your VAT back for almost no fee.

Normally if you're due a Swiss VAT Refund upon leaving Switzerland you have 2 options:
- Immediate VAT refund via 3rd party Global Blue for a fee, or
- Delayed VAT refund via the Swiss government, no fee, but takes time & hassle
