I think most consider them high end; designs are similar to Lange. I really like their unusual pano series fly-back chronographs

Dont blame the camera. Hehe.

send your watches to me, I’ll photograph and post them for you. Problem solved.

I think they are well appreciated by many, well made and are a great value. I would not say they are high end more mid range. I would not put them with Gronefeld, UJ, or Laurent, PP, VC etc.

i guess this begs the question: when is a watch considered high end?

is it the brand/marque? maybe why Seiko distinguished betweem its Credor and Grand Seiko lines and the others (Prospex, Presage, Seiko 5, etc).

is it the price? what is the cut off? USD20K retail? so one brand can offer a low end, a mid end and a high end price?

is it the finishing? inside and out? the materials used?

is it a combination?

Oh man! Green is my color! I have debated a GO Pano on and off for years but this may make me pull the trigger, but I love the PanoMaticLunar with the white dial. TOUGH choice!!!

I have seen this one during a window shopping wander, it is cool. The price tag was around USD 8.5K or 9K, if I am not mistaken.

They might have some nice models like the 60's but the above definitely isn't for me. That dial would drive me crazy.

FIFY...just my opinion obviously. GO has the best large date there is, and ALS's version is horrible in comparison.

Even better than the PanoGraph, is the PanoRetroGraph, if you can find one...

I agree with this. I have a Blancpain with large date that I love, but GO execution of this particular complication is far better than any others I have seen

I would agree (and think so would many others) that the GO big date execution is one of the best. The date wheel interfaces are so precise that the typical bar between the numbers is eliminated and from an on the wrist perspective no separation is obvious.
WRT the high end determination, the "house" certainly should get so consideration but the quality of the movement's finishing and complication level should also weight heavily as far as I'm concerned. I have a tough time considering a quartz driven Aquanaut (5064) high horology even though it's manufactured by Patek.

is GO considered high end?

I think GO is a highly underrated brand. I love the Panoretrograph in platinum. Definitely one of my grail watches.

And I would add as far a platinum complications go-not a ridiculous price tag as a preowned model

I dont see why GO cant be considered high end. They make nice watches. Plus heritage and the complications.

Your next purchase should be a new potato...

A local AD of mine sells GS, H Moser and Glashutte Original. Glashutte fits in next to those brands, which I'd confidently call "high end" (whatever that means). However, the design language has just never clicked with me.

Found this list -

https://www.wpdiamonds.com/12-expensive-watch-brands/

GO not on the list 😀 But it’s a 2018 list. Maybe needs to get updated.

What does "high end" even mean? Personally I couldn't care less how some website or consumers of new watches rank various watch brands. What is the "hobby" or "enthusiast" part of boutiques, credit cards and online articles telling one what is considered desirable? If I like it and buy it then I'm perfectly comfortable with it.

I purchased a SeaQ Panorama Date back in February and I'm still in the Honeymoon phase.

I definitely like the SeaQ. If I didn't already own the BB58, it would be a consideration...
