Has anybody seen one of these out in the world?

I think it is a very appealing reference for a GP Chronograph

A rattrapante chronograph by Girard Perregaux Pour Ferrari, model ref 9014. This is the much finer ‘monopulsante’ rattrapante (split-second) chronogaph, the alternate had a 3rd pusher at 8 o’clock

There are a few on Chrono 24.....just search for "Girard Perregaux rattrapante"

I have come to see chrono24 as the very best place to find the watch you are looking for and one of the worst places to buy it

Just trying to help. You'll just have to wait for one to pop up somewhere other than C24. You could try placing some WTB ads on various watch fora, you might just get lucky and find someone who has one.

I hope you weren't offended by my comment about chrono24.
I do appreciate your response to my inquiry - I keep hoping that somebody can point me in the direction of a site with as well curated a selection as chrono24 but more reasonable pricing

I've heard of the brand, but not familiar with its watches. Reference 9014 is a good looking watch, really like the mix of a stainless steel case, gold and blue hands and gold hour plots. Attractive timepiece.

It's a dream we all have. You can always make an offer on Chrono24, the prices are not necessarily fixed.
