Getting my collection insured ?

    Do people often have their timepiece collections insured ?
    If so, any advice re: insurance companies, cost etc ?

    I put mine on my house content insurance that covers theft / loss in and out of the house. I have to send a photo and valuation cert with each piece that is over 5 years old, if less than 5 years old I give them serial number model and value and they just add it on. It's not that expensive example my PO ti is insured for £5460 for £21 a year.
