Having bought a few new watches over the past months, weirdly the one I'm enjoying wearing most right now isn't my 8900 PO or 2500d SMPc, but a Seiko "Sea Urchin"! I bought it specifically as a beater watch, and have been wearing it for anything and everything. I plan to see how long it takes to get completely mangled! Its light, fairly thin, a great size at 41mm, the most comfortable watch I have, looks a bit like a sub from a distance, well made and finished, automatic and so far seems pretty hardy! There's something quite liberating about wearing a watch that you literally don't give a crap about. What do you guys use as a beater??
I use an SKX007, a couple quartz pieces including Fossil “Moonwatch,” Casio Digital, g-shock, Apple Watch, and some random vintage divers. Outdoors gardening, home remodeling, cycling, working on the car, yard work, general-do-whatever weekend watches.
Booooo! Not enough scuffs You’re officially invited to scuff it up by helping me dig up my backyard to make my wife a vegetable garden for Mother’s Day Oh, and bring your omega pocket watch with you why I want it, I don’t quite know yet... but just like Girl Scout cookies it’s hard to turn down someone who is knocking at your door
LOL you wear Rolex as beaters, how about you send me one of those and it will be my nice watch. I can send you my beater.
Too many to choose from, but I have worn all of these at least once in the last 2 months. However have incoming that will relegate most of them
