I bought this dial some time back and I felt that it might not be genuine. I have a genuine new Omega SM300 dial and the lume is very different, this particular dial the lume is almost flat where as the genuine replacement Omega one is raised.

Quality wise the dial looks ok.

Also on the back there is no 552 stamped.

    Any thought on its authenticity?

Serviced replacement maybe, don't believe omega use just one manufacturer for their service dial

It could be and it looks pretty good. It certainly looks a bit better than this one, pushing the boundaries of patina :p

552 stamped on the back? Curious why you think it would have that stamped on it?

What is on the back is the maker, and also a partial part number. 0827 is part of the part number for the date dial...part number is 064PP0827001. I don't see anything really that would make me think it's not right.

    Cheers, Al

The old one above has 59*552 stamped on the back and I've seen other SM300 dials with similar stamped on the back which appeared to indicate the movement it was designed for.
