Saw this on E-Bay currently being auctioned.
    Is it real or fake?

Also, anyone know where to get cheap vintage omegas or any other good vintage watch brands (<400 AUD (If it’s cheaper then that would be better since I can use the remaining money for chicken nuggets)).

Its genuine, but not something I'd spend my money on.

Well, at least that’s a good sign.
    Anyways, why is that?

Mid to late sixties Seamaster with what looks a reasonably clean Cal 552. Gold capped case is ok, but quite worn on the ends of the lugs and the lugs themselves have quite soft facets from being polished. Crown looks like a non- Omega replacement (hence no end on shot). Budget for a crown, full service and a decent strap and you can add £300-400 ( no idea what that is in AUS D) before you even start. Probably not worth the effort.

    Exactly what I was thinking.

Make sure the nuggets are still crispy and juicy, not like the watch.

Jokes aside, you should take a pass on the watch. It is not fake but it is in pretty bad shape. I am sure you can find a better deal for same price.

What they are trying to tell you is that the watch is a shagged-out old dog not to be touched with a bargepole.
