    Posting some pics as I can't tell if this one is genuine? If anyone has any pointers on how to remove the case back that would be great. I don't have watchmaker tools...

    Yes it’s genuine, early 70’s at a guess, possibly a cal 1002 movement.
    Sorry not something I follow so about as useful as I can be.

    Thanks, Noddyman. Any idea how to remove the case back? Seems like it's really on there. I tried using a pocket watch case opener (blunt knife style), but it was too big.

    I am not one for messing with my watches I generally send them off to my watchmaker.
    If you remove the strap possibly it will reveal the access point you are looking for?
