Interested in opinions on the attached. Does the dial look genuine? I haven't seen one with this number font before. I'll get some photos of the movement if this didn't come out of a cracker box.

Not 1948 with that Seamaster font, so a redial at the least.

I'm pretty sure 1948 was a guess from the guy that's selling it. Changed title to reflect reality. I'll try to get serial number photos tonight.

 

Definitely a redial; better stay away..

 

That case looks like its from the 60-ties.
