What do you guys about this watch? Is it genuine and original? What would be a fair price?

Thank you.

Apart from the service crown it is correct. Looks to be somewhat polished.

Is the watch from a Danish seller?

I saw this in person, and yes, quite polished. The dial have some issues, worst around the date window. I did bid on it, but it went for far more than my max..... 😀

Thought I recognised the style of photography 😉

Just found it at the auction site now. I'd say that the realised price is around what I'd expect it to be so not a bargain, but not an exorbitant amount of money either. The condition would put me - and others collectors - off, as can be read from the above quote 😀

It needs a good service, so when all is factored in, it will be around $2,200 which is a lot for a "gold capped 168.004", but probably not for a "Vintage Constellation with a black pie pan dial". It's all about which way you look at it 😉

The seller would like to exchange the watch with another watch I have plus some money. He gave approximately 1.840 USD for the watch. I just wanted to know if the watch was genuine and original and your thoughts on the watch.

Så lidt 😀

If you have any other questions etc. feel free to post more - I'd be happy to answer PMs as well, also in Danish.
