I have recently purchased a Corum $20 gold coin watch with a 10 jewels quartz movement. Is this movement made by Corum or is it made by ETA or another company? Pic. enclosed
To the best of my knowledge, the only in house Corum movement is the one they use in the Golden Bridge. Again if memory serves, everything else is ETA and that looks like a modified 955.122.
Thanks for your reply. I put a pic. of 955.122 next to the pic. of my movement and they do look quite different. My dilemma is that I need a clutch wheel for mine and trying to find the part.
Dammit, go buy a proper watch. A simple manual. Wind it up. Watch it go! Seriously, I just did a search for the watch and they use a fair assortment of ESA/ETA movements including 210.001 and 959.001 as well as the 955.122. Probably just installed whatever Ofrei had on sale that week. Is there a reference number for the watch? Try searching Chrono24 for you watch and see what the seller lists the movement as.
