    Hello everyone,
My username is Warmond and I am brand new here. I have already read a number of very interesting posts and I am confident I can learn quite a bit in this Forum.
I am not a proud owner of a vintage Omega yet, or of any Omega, for that matter. However this may change soon, as I have seen a nice and affordable one that I may want to buy from its private seller, if I can have some certainty that all its parts are genuine.
I am posting all the pics of the advertisement. Unfortunately they do not let see the movement, the crown, the case back and the buckle. However, the hands have caught my attention, because they are not bi-tone and they do not have the same shape as the hands of similar Dynamic whose pics I have seen on the Internet. True, this Dynamic, in contrast to all those that I saw on the Internet, have Roman numbers on the dial and perhaps the monotone color of the hands is another special feature of this model. I wonder whether the hands are genuine and whether you can detect any potential serious anomaly in the watch.
They ask 510 euro for this watch.
Many thanks in advance for your repliy.

I'm more upset that someone has polished all of the quirky character out of the case.

But I agree that the hands look odd too.

There are loads of better Dynamics out there for a lot less money...

Many thanks for the reaction. I did not know the case has been polished (let alone to such an extent).
In the meanwhile I have found some pics of a couple of Geneve Dynamic with Roman numerals and the same withe hands. Probably it was a feature of the models having Roman numerals.

This dial hand combination is known and genuine.

The later second series Dynamics utilizing the caliber 1012/1022, like the one posted here, were polished on the top/sides, unlike the first series watches with brushed top and sides.

Probably worth pointing out that these 2nd generation Dynamics are not as sought after as the first generation, which had the brushed case and better movements.

It's fine if you like the changes in the 2nd Gen watches - just be sure that you know what you're buying and whether it's worth it.

Welcome to the forum! I really like the 1st Generation Dynamics. They have solid Omega movements, but are still affordable. And I like being able to easily change out the straps or bracelet. Here are my Three Amigos for Cinco de Mayo.
