Hi OF,
Just received this Geneve Chronostop and I really love the dial. However, I believe the crown is incorrect. Am I right? I appreciate your input on this.
Also the crystal bothers me: there is a space between the bezel and the crystal rim, it’s to high for this watch. This is not an original crystal, so I need a crystal as well. Can someone tell me the part nr?
Last but not least: thd strap id too small for my wrist, so I need extra links.can these still be ordered st Omega? I thought I saw a thread mentioning this. It’s an original 1118 bracelet.
Thanks for your inout.

this chronostop model has a flyback mechanism and affirmatively your watch's crown is too big. i hope you can compare more with my brown dial.

Err I would suggest that in fact the crowns of both watches seen above are wrong!

The OP crown has the look of a flat foot Speedy crown. If it is, it could be fairly valuable. The second looks like a Seamaster clover leaf.

Nice looking watch you have😉 … and like Padders said, yours has a wrong crown as well. The dimension of it looks much better though

How can I confirm that. It crossed my mind as well that it could be a speedy crown.

Get your callipers out and measure the diameter and depth, that will give you a good indication. I think the measurements may be in MWO, I'll take a look if I get the chance, or maybe another kind soul will confirm the measurements. The thread and tap matter too though.

ps SP101 has the FF crown dia as 7mm.

this looks interesting. mine has rounded flat feet crown for seamasters, but yes Padders correctly pointed it out to be 4 cloverleaf. the logo however looks the same as other chronostop crowns (though with many teeth) like this one same below.

Ok, I can confirm the measures: 3.8 mm, 6.8mm and 24 teeth. Thread and tap are things I cannot confirm as the crown is fitted to the stem. Maybe this watch will pay for itself for at least a part😀

That would correctly place it in the flower power period::rimshot::

So, after all the fun🤪 I still have some questions:
What are correct part number for:
-crystal
-crown
as I don’t have access to parts list.
And: can misding links be obtained at Omega?
Thanks for feeding me with this info!
