Hello guys,
I searched Info in the existing thread but al the end I decided to post a new one dedicated to my question.
I found a watch (Genève 166.041 team 1971) with an unusual configuration but I like it.
What you think about this configuration?

Looking for additional info i found another watch (not working and already sold) with the same config, but with some patina..
Thanks for your opinion.

Do you just want our opinion on the style or an evaluation of the watch? 😀

I'm a fan of these, got a hand wound version with a purple dial, orange second hand which doesnt make any apologies about being from the 70s. The 565 is a great movement, condition looks fine, what's not to like?

Thanks a lot for your opinion.
It seemed to me difficult to find information about this configuration for a 166.041 and I wanted to understand if it is possible that it came this way from the factory and not assembled using components from other omega models.
(The seller declares that the dial has not been rebuilt and that the hands are original)
Thanks so much.

I would be wondering what all that yellow stuff is around the case. Obviously it will need a service so depends on price. Probably over priced. A bit of patience usually enables the buyer to find a better option if not a better price. I am sure you can do better than this unless it is being offered for too good to be true money.
The first one is presented well, but I would ask for close ups and macro shots. Lighting and editing can make a donkeys leg look like it belongs to a super model. Don t be fooled by the phots they could be hiding a lot.

Good point. Also, I hope these aren't the only available pictures, as some angles are missing. The sides of the case, for example.
