Hey everyone, I was hoping to get a quick opinion on the watch below. I'm having trouble finding good images to reference on the forum. I've been trying to compare the Omega logo and am having trouble telling if it's too close together. I tried comparing against https://omegaforums.net/threads/is-this-real.42359/#post-499022 to try and reference it. It's selling somewhere between 300-400 and in theory recently serviced, which of course I'd take with a grain of salt. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Looks ok to me except the Swiss Made font looks off. Here’s mine for comparison. Note: It is correct for some dials to not have Geneve printed.
I overlooked it thinking it might be distorted from the crystal but here's a closer image. The almost looks like the second s is capitalized.
Barring any glaring evidence of a redial I might conclude the Swiss Made is distorted by the crystal too. Remember this reference was made over several years in the early to mid-sixties. Dial production runs could vary slightly over time. Also we are comparing under extreme magnification. Having said all that, I’m far from an expert and you should allow others time to chime in.
The weird 'S' is right under what looks like a big ol' scratch, this could be causing the distortion. Maybe see if the seller will provide another picture from a slightly different angle?
