Garryflex anyone?

After reading threads about Garryflex, I thought I’d give the 120 a go. The pan scourers have been pretty decent, not perfect, but many have said it’s a ‘factory finish’ with the Garryflex. Albeit Rolex finish, but still…. maybe their idea of brushed is more polished than Omega.

I was expecting a brushed look, which it kind of is, but much shinier than the brushed I know, and the clasp scratches look like a skating rink. I did a clasp on an old 300 with a scourer not long ago, which surprised me, It was much older and more scratched than this one, but looks spotlesss, but this was lousy.
I tried hard pressure, soft pressure, one direction, straight lines, dry, wet. It’s much like a pencil rubber soft, but it didn’t looked brushed, like I got from scourers.

Question is… Is it the wrong grade, and is 120 the reason why it’s shinier and not great? That was the one I kept seeing. I very rarely bother as they get done by Omega on service, but this one hadn’t ever been touched till now. I’m not precious about it, but this whole bracelet needed a refresh and curious to see how much better these pads are? They're not. Phone pics don't pick up on it much, but it's too shiny for me.
