Just wondering if anyone knows if the tachymeter bezel for an a386 is the same as for a g381. I recently acquired a g381 that is missing the tachy ring. I am also looking for the original crown for the watch if anyone has any ideas where I might find one. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

Yes G381 tachy is same as the one found in A386. There is the original and also a service replacement part.

No 18k GF ladder bracelet. The one you have it on looks good to me

Monti- if you haven’t sourced your Tachy ring yet, as an FYI, I wanted to let you know there is a NOS one for an A386 currently on sale on EBay.

In addition, for the G381, does anyone know if the original buckle was also 18k? Any ideas as to where I can source one? Thx!

 

Hi As far as I know, they do - I have both... FYI, (service ones have a “fat C” in tachymeter, the original ones a “skinny C” - here are mine (warning - obligatory watch shots to follow)

The g381 has the original tachy, the a386 a service one - however I managed to source a correct vintage one and it should be back next week..

Thanks for the message. Mine did not have the original buckle, so I was trying to source an original without much success. So, where I landed was ordering an 18k buckle and strap directly from Zenith from the G381 reissue. It was not cheap, but should be here in a few weeks. I will post some photos when it gets in. Thx! This one,sold by me, was from the first owner from Sicily.
The strap was like new condition.
