This is my first time selling a watch on OF, and my second time ever selling a watch. I've been a member here since 2016, but naturally have nothing to show in terms of references except for once as a buyer. I guess everyone here was in my shoes once, and I'll go out of my way to be as transparent as I can. So here goes: I purchased this Seiko "Ninja Turtle" SRPC49K1 on October 3, 2019 from its first owner, and have been wearing it too little since. As this watch is not a museum piece, I'd rather have someone else enjoy it more than I do. - Dial: Flawless original matte back dial with applied markers - Case: 45mm Turtle case with what Seiko refers to as "hard black coating." The combination of glossy and matte black surfaces is quite remarkable. - Bezel: Flawless, original black and grey, turns counter-clockwise effortlessly - Movement: The typical Turtle movement, 4R36, including a day and date wheel. The watch keeps good time as far as I can tell. - Hands: Original Turtle hands, with the orange minute hand standing out - Strap: Original silicone strap - Date: According to Watchsleuth, December 2017 - Production: This is a limited edition, but Seiko hasn't released production numbers. The "Ninja Turtle" has long been sold out through through official Seiko channels. - Condition: I have worn the watch 15-20 times, and only wore it while desk diving. The watch has never been under water, and has not taken any abuse. It's sold as a full set: watch, strap, inner and outer box, booklets, warranty card, tags. - Price: I know what a new Turtle costs. Given current prices on Chrono24 and eBayPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network, and considering what I paid for the watch myself, I deem €800 OBO (ex shipping) a fair price. - Shipping/import taxes: I am based in the Netherlands. Willing to work with the buyer to pick an appropriate shipping method, but I will not provide incorrect information on tax slips. - Disclaimer: I am a starting collector, not a watchmaker or professional dealer. The above is to the best of my knowledge. I will allow returns if the watch can be proven to be not as advertised upon arrival, but not in case of buyers' remorse. Please see the 12 photos below to get a better idea of this Seiko's condition. Would be happy to add more pictures, but I don't have the tools to open the case back. Very willing to answer further questions and share personal information by direct message in order to win your trust. Should anyone think anything in this listing is incorrect or incomplete, I'd be happy to receive your DM and correct accordingly. Thank you OF for the space!
