The font - no serifs (I ´m not sure about the right expression - the font is like a RLX-Expl2-stick-dial) Sorry - no better pics available.

While the image is poor and lacks enlarged detail to clearly resolve the serifs they appear faintly present to me. I believe the dial is legitimate.

I agree with Steve, looks like a legitimate dial to me. Never seen a counterfeit with onyx markers.

When is the last time anyone saw one of these in white gold?

Yes, dial looks original. White gold versions of the 14902 are uncommon and I would say that the price is both reasonable and a reflection of the supply-side.

    Cheers

OK - perhaps i saw this

    http://www.christies.com/lotfinder/...1840&sid=40f13d9d-bd6b-4ff1-b841-6bfa04b2746f

thought about the strange moonface (and the price as well) and remebered a conversation 4 weeks ago about white-gold constellations (in Germany 4000-6500 USD without bracelet, bought from a serious non-internet-watch-dealer). I agree, that the christie´s photos don´t make it easy to have an authetic opinion about the lots. it seems i´m wrong...
