Why is my brain finding argument for the 'box of watches' column in the "keep my house vs. box of watches argument" I'm having with myself?

Can someone elucidate the appeal of these for me, because I find them incredibly underwhelming.

You're not the only one, dozens of almost identical watches in a huge briefcase - nothing for me.

Look pretty cool throwing that briefcase on a GTG table. ;)

But yeah with @cristos71 does nothing for me.

One of these sets, either one of the 40 that were made "for sale" or one of the 5 "artist proofs", come up at auction every few years. I am not, however, aware of any of these sets selling for anywhere near the low estimate of 190,000 EUR.

Even though the artist proof sets are rarer, set #3/5 sold for £52,500 (including buyer's premium) in 2016.

Does anybody know if this lot eventually sold? If so, at what final price? Thank you.
