This is a cool one - the great Gerald Genta teaming up with Cartier! And the result is this wholly unique, envelope-pushing Cartier Pasha. Not surprising at all from the master himself, it’s an incredible design, blending high class with art deco and a wee bit o’ funk! Especially cool with this salmon dial, and this example’s complete with its original full set box and papers!

REFERENCE: 2324

YEAR: 1997

DIAL: Going from copper to burnt orange to salmon depending on the light. Add in mixed textures and those incredible numerals and it’s just awesome! (Hard one to fully capture in photos, even in macro.) Sapphire crystal, in fantastic condition. Under macro/a loupe there appears to be a small hair or slight mark just above the Cartier signature, but not noticeable on the wrist - presents beautifully!

CASE: Stainless steel case measuring 35MM, but add in that crazy cool crown guard and I’d say it wears more like 37 MM (shown below on my 6.6 inch wrist.) Case is in really nice shape, very light wear throughout, as expected, but all in it looks fantastic.

MOVEMENT: Service history unknown but the Cartier automatic is running great, winding feels nice and smooth, quickset date working perfectly, and in my experience keeping time within about 14 seconds a day.

BRACELET: On its original Cartier bracelet, also presents beautifully with a great hidden butterfly clasp. Will fit up to a 6.6 inch wrist. (Extra links are readily available, happy to source if needed.)

ACCESSORIES: Comes complete with its red Cartier box and all the fixings! Including the original paperwork from Cartier, showing it sold December 17, 1997 (I love to imagine this was a last minute Christmas gift!) Also includes all of the little booklets it originally came with. Case has some wear, a small area of staining inside, and wear to the watch pillow, which is common, but all in incredibly cool to find this complete - would make a great gift!
