Full hunter chronograph

I am just so happy to finally have this complete that I had to show it off. In one of my fevered states, I bought this over five years ago, incomplete and in pieces for (if I remember correctly) £400 plus commission. The last piece was put in this weekend and it runs better than the day it was made. The best theory at the moment is that it was made to measure the gait of a racehorse. I cant find any reference to it or anything the same. I showed it to a fr iend yesterday and immediately got an offer for it but ... he's staying with me until I get bored, which may be never.
