·For sale or trade is my Rolex Air King 5500 which I bought from a WUS member about a year ago.
Serial 74xxxxxx (early 1980s).
It is in very good condition for a watch of this age, TZ 85% conservatively. The acrylic crystal is clean. There is a tiny speck near the 3:00 marker on the dial but otherwise the dial is clean and absolutely beautiful without "precision" printed at 6:00 like some versions from this era. The case has a small nick (about 1mm) on the left side but otherwise just there are just superficial swirls from normal wear and should resolve with polishing. The bracelet is OEM (Rolex 78350) has no significant scratches or nicks, only desk dive marks that should also look like new once polished. The bracelet is sized for a 6.5" wrist and two extra links that will come with the watch. Finally, there is an inscription on the case back which says "We made it 11-29-84". This can probably be polished out but I never bothered to because I rarely even notice it.

The service history of his watch is unknown but it has been keeping excellent time ever since I've had it and as far as I can tell, all the parts look to be original to me.
Finally, there are no box and papers and it did not come with the watch when I bought it. However I brought it to my watchmaker who confirmed its authenticity. A picture of its beautiful cal. 1520 movement can be e-mailed if you PM me.
Asking $1500 OBRO wired, shipped express and insured to CONUS; Paypal is fine but the buyer pays fees and will only ship to a verified address.
Open to trade offers as well but especially interested in: Rolex Explorer/Sub, Omega Speedmaster Pro (3570.50, moonwatch), Omega AT/SMP/PO, Nomos watches.
