This is a near mint and very rare example of the Rolex 16610lv green submariner. It is a safe queen and was hardly worn. There are some light swirls on the sides of the case and bracelet. To the best of my knowledge and the previous owner (who owned it for 10 years) the watch was never polished but I will let the pictures do the talking. You may ask what makes this watch a grail? 1. Mint Flat 4 bezel. You will notice the tip of the 4 in "40" is flat and not to a point. This ultra rare bezel was only produced for about 12 months on the earliest examples. This is the main reason for the huge collectors premium here. Also, mk1 dial. 2. The serial is a "F0 serial" That's right...this is one of the first F serials to be made. Super rare and interesting. 2003 = F serial which was the true anniversary year (first year) for this watch. 3. This is a Canadian watch with unsigned papers from an Ontario AD. Become the "first" owner and live the dream! 4. Complete with box, papers, hang tag, booklets, etc. I am in no rush to sell this one as it is as close to a "keeper" as I can imagine. All trades considered. I do like vintage omega speedmaster, vintage zenith, rolex etc. I am happy to ship internationally fully insured and have many experiences doing same. Many references available. Price: $25,000usd trade or sale value obo No returns. I have many references across multiple watch forums under the same username. 5000 posts and references on rolexforums, several references here, over 100 sales on canwatchco.ca (the Canadian watch forum). $23,000 Now the best price for an excellent flat 4 full set that I can find. The insert is flawless which is also a major bonus. Many of these flat 4 full sets the watches have been badly polished or the inserts have some damage. This is a real collector grade piece.
Reduced to $20,000 usd firm. Best price for this condition anywhere. Had a buyer but they went with another piece.
