This is an attempt to refocus my collection and get one Speedmaster from every decade!. I have to trade a Steel Speedsonic on extremely rare original corfam brushed suede style strap with deployment clasp- never worn as I have another on bracelet in my collection. This was New Old shop stock found in Finland. The speedsonic has an almost unmarked brushed cushion case with correct unmarked end links and mint deployment clasp. Even had the original correct pins. The watch was overhauled by Keith Tilley and went back to Omega STS for some work - a new pusher etc - am digging out the paperwork. The day and date wheels seem a bit sticky at present - it may be lack of use or they need some recalibration, reflected in trade price. The f300 hums along nicely and keeps good time. The mirrored dial and glass are flawless. The chrono buttons work and reset to zero as expected. Trade value US$1500 inc post to the 48 states as am currently based in USA. This really is near mint.
Now opened up to straight sale...and battery fitted. These are a few pounds each from Timpsons! Although fitted myself - its a simple procedure if done with care. Oh that is a human hair in one of the pics - not a crack in the dial! Mea culpa.
Ok I am dropping price to £1250 - huge reduction and if it doesnt sell now its going back in the safe for 5 years!
