·Up for sale or trade, a superb condition Omega Marine Chronometer cal 1516, with original 1209/202 bracelet, perfect crystal,perfect dial and only 4-5 dings/scuffs around the case. And keeps perfect time, in 1 month it is 1 sec slow. So why is it cheap?
The movement number and the case number don't match, there is a difference of around 2k between them. Normally they come with matching numbers, so either this one was assembled directly from Omega this way or it received a NOS movement years ago when Omega was servicing them. In either case not a bad thing, but for the purist out there who collect these rare watches it can mean a lot, hence the super cheap price.
It comes with a vintage period red box, new gasket installed, working perfectly. Some paint missing on the case numbers, but that happens often. Case back is superb, no big scratches there and Omega logo very visible.
Price 1375 GBP including delivery. Trades + or - always considered.
