Plenty has been written about these sweet little divers, and this link is pretty good at giving some history and includes the model I am listing here. In the article it is referred to as a "Waltham Bathyscape Type II". https://chronographes.net/2017/10/21/waltham-bathyscaphe-la-baby-blancpain/ Pics tell the story. Dial: excellent with no surface defects. some lume missing from hands but this can be very easily sympathetically restored to match the dial lume if so desired. Crystal is original and has a few scrapes that can be polished out. A few flakes of the hand lume are on the undersurface of the crystal. Case: 34mm. Has excellent contours and looks like natural wear and tear with the usual tiny dings and scrapes. this case may be unpolished.... case back: a few scratches outline in the pics. no watchmakers mark inside case back. movement: very clean and running well. but please assume it needs service as I have no idea of if it was ever done. bezel: steel bezel in excellent shape with ding at 57 minutes bakelite insert: excellent overall. a few scars and scratches but NO cracks. all numerals and markers are sharp. exception is a tiny bit of radium lume missing from triangle at 12:00 Just reduced to $1400 ONRO. PP friends or bank transfer. Fedex/ParcelPro to lower 48 is on me. Overseas will split shipping with the buyer. No returns unless misrepresented. Thanks, Todd
