Up for sale is a vintage Movado Datachron HS360 with the El Primero PHC3019 movement - model # 434-615-502. This is one of the original watches with the El Primero movement, probably from 1969, as the Datachron watch model was renamed to Datron shortly after launch, before being discontinued around 1974. 17 jewel movement means this was originally sold to US market. Gold plated watch in lovely vintage condition. Sunburst gold panda dial with sunken black subdials is excellent, with no discoloration, stains, or marks. Movado hands and signed crown are the same as when new - you'll see many of these for sale with Zenith replacement hands or incorrect/unsigned crowns. Date wheel is also original gold printed, rather than the white replacement font seen today. All chronograph functions working properly, chrono hand resets to zero. Service history unknown, but runs at about 6-9 seconds slow per day. Overall a beautiful sporty watch with a vintage El Primero movement. 18mm black strap included.
