BNIB The New Tudor Heritage Black Bay Black Reference 79220N, Complete Set I've been waiting for this watch for quite some time and my dealer was nice enough to got me 2 of these watches the other day, the only 2 BBB that they got this month as well. I was quite skeptical when they said they can get 2 of these before Christmas, but they delivered. I've just found out this morning that I won't be needing the second one. I was going to return it to my dealer right away but I thought I'd post it here first just in case if there's anyone need the watch as soon as possible and your dealer won't be able to supply it in time. REDUCED at 3,250USD + shipping. Payment by PayPal or bank wire only. Here's a review by John Mayer about the watch, https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/t...lack-bay-black-reference-79220n-by-john-mayer
That took quite a while, congratulations! I'm not sure if I should've ordered my one on leather strap since I don't actually wear the bracelet that much because I wear Horween Straps all the time especially with my vintage watches.
That's where you can send me the leather strap with the watch as an awesome Xmas gift....just saying...
In all seriousness better to get the steel bracelet and buy the leather strap than the other way around. At least IMO
That would be my thinking as well, so that if/when you resell, you're more likely to find a buyer since bracelet-wearers seem to be more prolific with these... Only issue being what Mayer said in his review, that you really need the Rolex tool to be able to easily swap for the (more desirable IMO) leather. Oh, and congrats to seller and buyer of what I think is now one of the most gorgeous modern divers!
Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. When they announced the single unit for auction last year I fell in love with it, when the one came out on the black bezel I just couldn't stop liking at it. Main difference being the snowflake hands, which I like. I love that they use the rose logo and rose gold, I love the fact that they use guilt legends and like the big crown. I have several divers, and in Rolex I have a 5512 and 14060m to compete with this but it is the only big crown no crown protector I will have. To my surprise even my wife was into this one. She actually was going to buy me one but they only had the red and I wasn't too sure about it. I was lucky I just sold one piece while this one was available. It's like a trade.
Congrats Sergio-you will not regret it! I have spent a good part of my day staring at this one...good thing it's quiet here at work today!
