For sale is a Seamaster 120. This particular example is the 165.027 model which dates from 1966. The 120's were initially produced in 4 references. According to some this modelnumber is the hardest to find. Right movement caliber 552 for reference 165.027 (sometimes written as 165.0027). Case has notches at 3 and 9 o'clock. Caseback is domed. Seahorse is lightly engraved and not too deep. Bezel is matte not glossy (ghost bezel). Hands are the right length, not too short. Pearl is missing and bezel does not turn anymore. Movement: Automatic self-winding movement, copper colored, caliber 552, 24 jewels, 19800 A/h, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self compensating flat balance spring. Micrometer regulator. Signed. Serial number: 24719800. Service history unknown but watch runs well. Dial: Black. Applied Omega symbol at 12 o’clock. Applied luminous hour indexes. White sweep center seconds hand. Signed “OMEGA, Automatic, Seamaster 120, Swiss Made”. Case: Stainless steel solid case, three body, round shaped. “Ghost” bezel with scale for decompression timing. Acrylic crystal. Steel crown at 3 o’clock (signed). Steel screw-down caseback with engraved Seamaster symbol and signed “Seamaster-120,Waterproof”, and also signed inside and showing the modelnumber. Dimension: 37 millimeters diameter (39mm. including the crown). Price will be EUR 1250. I'm based in the EU.
