Finally up for sale is this true Gem of a watch.
Worn hard and will give you goosebumps with all the adventure this watch has had.
Your wrist will never be the same.

Want to show those desk diver types at the office who is not a couch potato.... Boom

Snoopyish style blue bezel that everyone is looking for nowadays.

Sold head only ( I know but the NATO means a lot to me so that will be extra and I know it annoyed someone here a few weeks ago )

Runs well but I don’t really tell the time with it as time doesn’t exist where I live.

Picked our first pineapple wearing this watch

Recently Serviced about 5 years ago by @JimInOz ( was free but I have included the extra $400 for a bottle of scotch for him that I never sent him )

Hands have been relumed.
Case has never been polished. Probably eroded by life would be a better term to explain the case
Bezel has a scratch at 40 but very hard to notice
Dial replaced with a NOS one hence the listing as NOS
Crystal is see through

Picture before it was serviced

Again this has been my good luck charm for years resulting in several memorable fish being caught while this was strapped to my wrist

Now for the price. I have taken in all the experiences I have had with this watch and the current price of the Snoopy 3 on chrono 24 to come up with below. ( not forgetting the $400 for the $100 bottle of scotch I owe Jim and postage to Melbourne by a courier that doesn’t drink which is hard to find in Darwin )

$28,400.00US net to me.
Would prefer face to face locally but will ship at buyers expense.

References galore if you need them
Just PM

With the tariffs, I’m out of the running for this now.
Hey, look on the bright side. With inflation, $28K USD may soon be a bargain.

Recently serviced?
Time must be measured differently in the NT.

If it was serviced more than ten years ago, it's well due for it now so factor in the cost of a service.

So considering it needs work, I wouldn't pay more than $27,900 for it.

Before I pull the trigger, it’d be helpful if we could have a pic of the watch sitting in a bowl of shrimp.

@LesXL I will double yours if I get a pic of it deep fried in batter with a portion of chips, curry sauce and mushy peas.

Hey, let’s leave the surge pricing to the tech bros over on the Rolex forum.

Do you guys even know STANDY? What you're asking for doesn't seem unreasonable.

Would like to see it staying Down Under. Spoke to my bank yesterday and they think, it's overpriced. Aussie Banks; they have no idea. They only loan 20,750.00 max. Sorry, Standy . I tried .

$28,000 in Chinese yuan, Japanese yen, Mexican peso, Indian rupee, Russian rubles, Canadian dollar. I was unable to find an exchange rate that would translate into a purchase price I was comfortable with. Sorry!

If this goes on long enough, some rich member might actually pay the 28k for the watch. Think of the provenance, the history, the..... 400+ internet posts. Who can even put a value on such things???

You know... If we just give inflation long enough, this will become a fair price.
