Hands have been relumed.
Case has never been polished. Probably eroded by life would be a better term to explain the case
Bezel has a scratch at 40 but very hard to notice
Dial replaced with a NOS one hence the listing as NOS
Crystal is see through

Again this has been my good luck charm for years resulting in several memorable fish being caught while this was strapped to my wrist


Now for the price. I have taken in all the experiences I have had with this watch and the current price of the Snoopy 3 on chrono 24 to come up with below. ( not forgetting the $400 for the $100 bottle of scotch I owe Jim and postage to Melbourne by a courier that doesn’t drink which is hard to find in Darwin )

I offered him 23,000 yen which is a/out $250.00 (Canadian), and never heard back from him. I can’t think he’s serious. In case he sees this and wants to bite, offer is withdrawn.😉

You're probably better off. Who knows what would be in that box with the watch. Probably 20 kinds of deadly spiders, snakes, millipedes, or god knows what could have crawled into that postal box without any knowing it.

I had forwarded payment ( asking price) towards the end of 2022.
The seller had in the meantime been in contact with a auction house who assured him he could achieve far more.
The money was promptly refunded with an abrupt message calling me an opportunist for not pointing out the apparent undervaluing of the piece.
The one that truly got away 🙁

You need to negotiate with something of use to someone living in the middle of nowhere…perhaps a pound of dry salted pork, a hickory axe handle, or maybe a deer pelt. You are thinking like someone to whom money means something.
