·Hi --
New here, but Up for sale is an Omega Speedmaster moon watch, purchased a few months ago from a well-known vintage watch dealer in Southern California. The serial number starts with 4831. Because this is a vintage watch, the lume has aged and the dial is a very dark grey -- making a really nice piece. There is also light scuffing on some of the case (see pictures).
This watch comes without a box or papers, but was described as follows by the watch dealer:
"Omega SS Speedmaster Man on the Moon circa 1985. 17 jewel manual wind calibre 861 movement. Beautiful condition original black dial with lightly patina'd luminous indexes. Caseback engraved "Flight Approved by NASA for Manned Space Missions. First Watch Worn on the Moon". With Omega oval link bracelet with deployment clasp. Classic full size manual wind model."
I swapped out the bracelet with a brand new OEM Omega rally strap and OEM deployant clasp. Though I really like this watch, I'd like to thin the herd (still have my PO and a Seamaster) and raise funds for another venture. Asking price is $3080 USD, shipped with insurance (CONUS) for the watch, deployant clasp/rally strap, bracelet, and pouch from the dealer. I accept BoA, Chase QuickPay, or PayPal. If PayPal, please add 3% for fees. Also let me know if you want just the Speedy/SS bracelet; I've had some interest for the OEM deployant/OEM strap, but I'd like to put a deal together for all at the same time.
References upon request (I've sold on eBay and WUS). This item is also listed on WUS. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks.
