Looking to sell my pre moon 145.022 69. A couple of other incomings has meant that unfortunately I need to let one go. And I have a further x2 of this reference. So the proposition: - A 1969 Omega Speedmaster DNN90. - Serial number 31313171. - Has been in my possession since early 2016, purchased via an antiques dealer friend locally in the UK and offered to me. The seller I know very well and trust. The watch was offered to him from the original owner in the UK. - No knowledge of the service history. But the watch winds very smoothly and runs well. Highlights: - The step dial is simply gorgeous. Lume all in tact, all original. No relume. Wonderful even patina. A truly wonderful dial IMHO. - The hands and chrono have a consistent darker lume than the dial plots. - No polishing of the case. Some minor marks to the case, consistent with age. Case bevels are sharp. No major dents. - I believe the crown, pushers and crystal to be original to the watch. - Bezel is in good condition. A few very minor marks on the edges as can be seen. - Genuine honest watch. Good you also know: - There are a couple of very minor surface chips on the side of the crystal, at approx 7 o'clock, close to the bezel. Hard to spot. But I noticed it was there when studying side on, close up, and wanted to disclose. Price - To me Net at £4,450 (Head only) plus shipping - Happy to accept PP or Direct Bank Transfer - Have several references on the site where I have bought from long standing members. More than happy to share. PM for further details. - Am based in the UK and can do F2F around the London area. Many thanks to OF for the space. Happy to answer any questions.
Thanks Chris. Hurts to let this one go. But they tell me the first sale (hopefully) on OF is the worst. The rest comes more easier
One other interesting observation to add. Caseback is free of the often seen deep gorges from using the wrong implements to remove caseback. A few additional pics from various angles.
