All, For sale is my beloved speedy. Those of you that know me may be shocked by this, but I decided to get an IWC Portuguese---so only one chrono is needed. Sob story aside---it's fresh off of a complete overhaul by a certified Omega watchmaker. Paperwork will be provided upon purchase and a photo of it can be provided to prospective buyers. In short, a complete overhaul (crown, pushers, crystal, tear down & rebuild of movement) occurred about a month ago. It was a $600 service. It's keeping immaculate time (as you would expect. It's dial is immaculate and the creamy patina on the markers is incredible. There is a faint glow of lume left. Cosmetically, the top of the case and the sides are immaculate. The back of the lugs, near where the original 1171 bracelet attached has scratches that I have elected not to buff out. I'm more concerned with keeping all edges sharp and original instead of buffing out scratches that can't be seen. I attached a custom sapphire caseback to the watch, as the cal. 861 must be viewed on demand. It comes with a hand cut and stitched Horween Shell Cardovan NATO strap. The is another bonus that follows the watch. The Omega Extract of the Archives was ordered about a month ago. That's another piece that will be thrown in.
