This is a very original Omega Speedmaster 125 with Extract of the Archives and sought-after numbered case back.

The numbered case back belongs to the original batch produced for Omega's Anniversary in 1973, this is confirmed by the extract, showing it produced on the 14th June and sent to Germany. It is faintly engraved H400.

These are huge chunks of steel and feel of great quality. They are the only Chronometer rated Automatic Chronograph Omega made, and I think one of the better movements Omega used. The 1041 movement was only used exclusively in this watch, so very special! Adjusted to 5 positions and temperature. Its functionality is fabulous, with a minute counter actually visible to the naked eye!

    Case

Unpolished and in good condition. Visible scratches and very minor dinks. Original to the watch, not a Watchco replacement. Case back bearing H400 engraving.

    Dial

Perfect Tritium dial with no marks or scratches and a very attractive cream lume. Applied logos with the Omega symbol, Omega and 125

    Hands

Hands are all original Tritium and in perfect condition, no lume or paint loss.

    Crystal

The crystal is original and has many minor scratches and degradation to the painted outer Tachymeter. It would benefit from replacement.

    Bracelet

It is presented on the original Omega solid link 1221/212 with minimal stretch and long enough for an 8 inch wrist, original buckle snapping closed securely.

    Movement

The movement is in great cosmetic condition, bright and untarnished. 1041 calibre and all functions working well. No history available and looks unserviced looking at pushers etc...

    Extract of the Archives

Omega's Extract of the Archive confirming this watch was produced in the anniversary year of 1973 and part of the initial Limited Edition to celebrate the foundation of Louis Brandts' "comptoir". The Origins of Omega.

    Price

    £2350 £2250 £2150 £2050 inc P&P in the UK RMSD
