The final watch I will be listing is this 105.003-65 in very attractive condition. Description: Dial/hands: Excellent dial with dark yellow markers, a couple of flecks of dust need removing but the surface is clean and undamaged. The hands have aged a tad lighter than the dial but are consistent and clean, a tiny chip to the paint at the post of the hour hand only. Both hands and dial glow correctly when exposed to UV light. The dial has some nice dark brown patination, especially around the sub-dials but it does not show at all in the daylight pictures. I could probably exaggerate this with more direct sunlight shots but don’t want to mislead anyone. Case: Straight lug case maintains nice fat lugs, shows consistent wear all over with the graining on the sides very faded, however from the profile it appears unpolished. There is a little corrosion between the lugs and a couple of scratches to the inscribed case back but overall the case is very nice. Crown, pushers and plexi appear original, the pusher tubes would benefit from a clean up and the plexi has some marks to polish out. Bezel: Good DON bezel shows wear consistent with the rest of the case, some minor chipping and a slight fade. Movement: Winds, resets and ticks correctly, however service history is unknown – the case back shows no sign of any service marks, the screws are particularly clean and un-chewed, the plating is of good consistent colour. I do not wish to guarantee timekeeping and would recommend a service before winding this watch. 24.538XXX Serial. Summary: Watch is a very attractive and wearable example with the bonus of a slightly brown dial. I prefer to keep descriptions pretty basic and just sell off the pictures provided which I believe clearly illustrate the watches condition, these watches are now also well documented (www.speedmaster101.com). My used leather strap is not included sorry! My Price: I am offering this watch for £13800 net to me via bank transfer; this includes shipping anywhere in the world (likely via Fedex). The watch is located in the UK and I could transact face-to-face in London with established members if requested. Returns: I have never had anyone ask for a return, I would consider it only if the watch is terribly misdescribed. I am not going to refund you if it gains 12 seconds in a day after 3 weeks.
