··LemaniacFrom my private collection here is a lovely Omega Constellation Chronometer ref. ST168.017 caliber 564.
This is one of the iconic Gerald Genta C-shape design classics. It dates to around 1970 based on movement serial number 31.900.xxx.
The watch is in an overall very good condition with sharp case lines and the correct brushed and polished surfaces that so many others have lost due to over polishing.
The caliber 564 movement is by many regarded as one of Omegas finest designs, and is the last in line of the 5xx series. The watch is running well and keeping good time.
Case: Very good condition with sharp lines. It does not appear to have been polished or in other ways molested. It measures 35x42mm without crown. The C-shape case actually wears bigger than the 35mm should suggest. 19mm lug width.
Caseback: Some minor marks after case opening tools, but otherwise nice looking with a very sharp observatory logo.
Movement: Caliber 564. Running strong at 270deg around -15s/day. I have no service history on this, and a service is recommended if one intends to use it on a frequent basis.
Dial: Lovely condition silver colored dial with silver and black onyx markers. Original (no redial). See pictures for condition.
Hands: Orignal and flawless (unrestored).
Crystal: Great condition original (signed).
Crown: Correct and signed.
Strap: Good condition, genuine lizard strap (not Omega) with unsigned stainless steel buckle.
Price: EUR625 + shipment at cost. OBRO
Shipment: The watch and I are located in Norway. I will be helpful to assist in keeping import taxes at reasonable levels. Shipments may also be arranged from within the European Union (will normally be possible about once every 14-days). Only tracked shipments accepted from my side.
