A rare sale from myself - I recently got a NOS version of this, so this one is marked to go out of the door. Ironically I had just had it fully serviced by Keith Tilley in England in September 2020 at a cost of 265 pounds sterling, so it should give many years of service now. Watch is in US for American buyers, but can be sent from UK middle of next month for any UK or European interested parties.

This is quite an uncommon model - the printed bezels wear out very quickly and this one is still fairly good. I was told by my watchmaker that these are available from Omega still, but at vast expense as apparently they are white gold. Which seems a bit odd but hey ho....perhaps someone here can confirm that. Watch is unpolished with orignal brushing still visible. It comes on what I assume is the original oyster-style Omeg bracelet - however this is quite short and with my fairly standard size wrists I cannot wear it. A bracelet extender or a longer Omega clasp would be the solution, or stick it on something else! I had it on NATO, leather, rubber and tropic at one time or another.

Bezel rotates stiffly, date and day change over smoothly, the second hand sweeps and the watch hummmmmmmms. Dial is unmarked. Any marks you see are scuffs to unpolished crystal. Slight oxidation on metal of hands and hour markers. Correct Omega signed crown and plain caseback. Its a mystery to me why this was never marked a Seamaster with its MilSpec appearance, but then it doesnt have any water resistance quoted so perhaps this really is a desk diver. There is a crack to the crystal at 1.15. These can be replaced but the newer ones seem to have a higher profile - this is much flatter to the case, so I never changed it. Also comes with correct f300 Omega box. The faux wood style - note the watch holder itself is green and not red - I guess it got swapped over the years.

And so to the price - I have tried to get a handle on this but am struggling. My NOS cost way more than I am asking by the way! My ask is US$1000 - NOW $800 or GBP equivalent (currently 769.00 - NOW 615 pounds sterking!). If I am way out on the price please let me know. This is a straight sale only please - I am currently funding the overhaul of a Hamilton Chronocentric and that is not a cheap business. I would cover postal cost to US address using USPS and to a UK address using RMSD. If to Europe lets talk about the best method. Payment method to be discussed PayPal FnF, UK bank transfer and US bank wire are all options. I have sold a few watches over the years here but am more of a buyer (I am a collector first and foremost). References are available - probably somewhere on OF or TZUK or MWR, but not sure where!

OK so onto the pics. If you need more info/pics etc then please ask. Look forward to hearing from you and thanks to the forum for allowing this sale.

A BIG price reduction on this to $800/615 pounds as I have a large unexpected incoming addition to the collection.....oh dear! No further reductions as this is now IMHO quite a bargain with the recent service.
