Up for sale is my JLC 159 from 1944. The watch was recently given a full service from my watch maker and it’s running great. The watch has a base metal case and you can see the original chrome playing has worn but you have to remember these were made during the war for a different market than today. This watch has a caliber 478 movement. The only non-original part is the seconds hand. The case is 34mm and the lugs are 16mm. This is the same model used by the MoD during the war as a pilots watch, but this is not an issued watch, it’s the civilian version. Comes with the leather band shown. I will consider equal value single-watch trades for Breitling. However, I will sell outright at $1300 in the US. I’m NOT interested in international deals, no exceptions. So this is a great way to get a JLC for about a grand, and a serviced one at that.
