SOLD: Another piece that I am not wearing and need to move along. For sale here (OHPF now) is my Hamilton Pilot Pioneer Auto Chronograph. This is the watch that Hamilton released last year, the design of which is inspired by their original asymmetrically-cased RAF chronograph from the early 1970's.

This Hamilton is powered by a specially modified Valjoux 7750 that was developed exclusively for Hamilton, who calls it Caliber H-31. The differences are no 12-hr counter at 6 o’clock (it’s now a 30-min chronograph), a 60-hr power reserve (enough to see it through a weekend on the dresser), and the date is advanced through a tiny pusher in the case at 10 o’clock.

Mine is in perfect shape, without a flaw on it (with the possible exception of some strap changing marks on the *inside* of the lugs - nothing visible of course).

The watch comes with a custom Horween shell cordovan strap, the factory nylon strap (virtually unworn), box and papers. The warranty card is dated July 3rd, 2013.

$1095 USD (now sold) shipped and PayPaled in the US. International shipping at cost. I have lots of references here and on WUS, TZ-UK, MWR, and Watch Net Good Guys. PM or email directly to roverhaven at gmail dot com.

Thanks for looking,

Myron

These pictures are fresh from this morning. If you browse over to WUS and search the Hamilton forum you'll find a review I wrote with some other pics and impressions.

What size it it? Gotta be fairly large if a 7750 has that much case surrounding it.

Hmm, I think it is 42-43 mm. My wrist is about 7.25" around and the Hamilton has never felt overly large on it. It wears quite comfortably.

Thanks,

Myron

It's 42mm. My buddy with a 6.75" wrist has one and it looks great on him.
