Hi All, Up for sale is one of the crowns of my collection, a beautiful no crown guard Rolex Submariner 5508. The 5508 is one of the Rolex Subs associated with the first Bond Submariner! Bought this watch from a seller who bought it directly from the original owner of the watch. It was originally sold in Italy in the late 1950's. I believe everything to be original to it minus the insert which is a later replacement and the band which is the correct number but later year. Gilt dial is in nice original condition showing age in spots. It is a very uncommon "exclamation" dial as denoted by the exclamation point under the 6 o'clock marker. 1530 butterfly movement keeping great time and previous seller told me it was serviced in the past few years, but I have no paper work on that. 7206 rivet bracelet with 2 extra links also included with the sale.
